The Capitol Steps, a Washington DC-based comedy troupe that began as a group of Senate Staffers, will present a show based on songs from their current album 'How to Succeed in Congress Without Really Lying' at Jacksonville's Wilson Center for the Arts from Tuesday, February 10th through Sunday, February 15th for eight performances only! Tickets are on sale now through the FSCJ Artist Series, sponsored by Chase, the official presenter of the Jacksonville show.

Tonight, October 23rd is opening night for Radd Theatre Co.'s first off-broadway production, Out of the Basement, beginning 7:00pm at the American Theater for Actors. Writer and artistic director, Danny Coates-Finke, describes the play as 'A scary, sometimes funny, always exciting journey down the rabbit-hole of masculinity and its consequences'. Show has limited run, today, October 23rd - October 26th.

The Vineyard Theatre today announced that their 2015 Gala will honor Tony Award-winning producer Margo Lion. The annual Gala Fundraiser will take place on Monday, March 30th, 2015, beginning at 6:30pm, at Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). John Waters (Hairspray, Cry Baby) will host the Gala show.

Kimmel Center brings the nationally recognized It Gets Better Project to Philadelphia, sharing the inspiring message of hope in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth who have experienced and survived bullying. Through a weeklong residency of the It Gets Better Project, which begins on November 4, youth led panel discussions and free community events relay the message of hope and perseverance to LGBT youth who have been harassed in their schools and communities. The weeklong residency culminates with a ticketed event of It Gets Better live on stage - a transformative concert, video and narrative experience featuring the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles in Perelman Theater on Saturday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m.
