The Second City's irreverent and interactive seasonal satire, Twist Your Dickens returns to Goodman Theatre for its third year with new yuletide yuks and favorite faces. 'A satisfying twist on the traditional tale' (Time Out Chicago), Twist Your Dickens is written by former The Colbert Report writers Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort and directed by and starring Second City Alum Ron West.

Edward Albee Memorial Will Be Held at the August Wilson Theatre

A memorial service to pay tribute to the playwright Edward Albee - who died at age 88 on September 16, 2016 - will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 1 pm at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street), it has been announced by a group of Mr. Albee's friends and associates who are organizing the memorial.

Over 200 Broadway Community Members Come Together To Urge America To Vote

Over the weekend Jordan Roth, president of Jujamcyn Theaters, mobilized the Broadway community to help remind Americans to vote. Reaching out to members of the Broadway community, including numerous national tours, Roth compiled a music video using over 200 images that were sent in.

Next up on Kitchen Theatre Company's 2016-2017 26th Season is Death Boogie by Darian Dauchan, a hip hop musical that combines physical theater, music, video, and poetry in a stunning projected environment! Violinist Mathew 'MattViolinist' Silvera and double bassist Desmond Bratton provide live accompaniment for this one-of-a-kind theatrical musical event. Performances are November 15 to December 4.

OSF Closes its 2016 Season

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival wrapped up the 2016 season on October 30 with the final performances of Great Expectations, Richard II, Twelfth Night and The Yeomen of the Guard. Preparations for the 2017 season and 2017 member ticket sales are already underway. The 2017 opening weekend is February 24-26; preview performances begin February 17.
