Tickets are on sale for the US debut for SOULPEPPER, Toronto's largest and most celebrated theatre company, in a four-week engagement Off-Broadway at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street in New York City. A true repertory program of plays, musicals and concert performances, featuring a company of over 65 artists, the festival, entitled SOULPEPPER ON 42nd STREET, will be presented July 1-July 29, 2017. 'Welcome to my home, well it's not actually my home but for tonight it is' says Asha Jain at the top of A Brimful of Asha. Asha and her son Ravi are inviting us to share an evening with them to tell us a story about Asha's desire for her son to marry a nice Indian girl and settle down. They've even brought samosas.

Under Artistic Director Ravi Jain, and Artistic Producers Owais Lightwala and Kelly Read, Why Not Theatre will mark a decade of work with a new production of the company's inaugural show, Ravi Jain's reconstructed Prince Hamlet, and the 4th round of the RISER Project, both at The Theatre Centre this spring.

"What does it mean to be a good person? Do you think we value the same things in life? Was I well behaved as a child? What about me do you not understand? Do you need to be tough to survive?"

With The Father enjoying a sell-out run at the Tricycle, and her latest production due to open at the National Theatre, Artistic Director of the Tricycle,Indhu Rubasingham, today announces the company's new season.

Tarragon Theatre announces its 11-play, 2012-2013 season of contemporary plays, including a mini-festival of new works by Hannah Moscovitch; a Tarragon writing debut from David Yee; returning artists David S. Young and Asha and Ravi Jain; and work from Melody A. Johnson, John Mighton, Michel Nadeau and Morris Panych.

Tarragon Theatre presents the Why Not Theatre production of A Brimful of Asha, directed by Ravi Jain, written and starring Asha and Ravi Jain. A Brimful of Asha previews January 24, opens January 26 and closes February 19, 2012 in Tarragon Theatre's Extra Space.
