Arvada Center Announces 2009/2010 Season Line-up

The Arvada Center's 2009/2010 theater season includes four Broadway musicals, a regional premiere and a classic, and offers a variety of subscription packages; the 6-show, 'see-it-all' subscription, a 4-Musical subscription and the create-your-own flex subscription. The Cleveland Play House Artistic Director Michael Bloom announces the world premiere production of Thornton Wilder's novel Heaven's My Destination, adapted by award-winning playwright Lee Blessing. The play is the centerpiece of the fourth annual FusionFest, a multidisciplinary performing arts festival.

The Longwood Players Present NINE, 4/24 - 5/2

The Longwood Players continues its 11th season celebrating women with a stunning musical based on the work of Federico Fellini. Nine has music & lyrics by Maury Yeston (book by Arthur Kopit). It is adapted from the Italian by Mario Fratti. The show will be performed at the Cambridge Family YMCA theatre on April 24, 25, 30, May 1, and May 2 at 8 pm. Cats, 42nd Street, Phantom & More Come to New Stage House This Summer

A new Stage House will be the star of the 2009 Summer Season at the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Brengle Terrace Park. Moonlight Stage Productions is presenting its 29th summer season at the new facility, which is scheduled for completion in time for the season opening production of ?42nd Street? on July 15. The season will also include Kopit and Yeston?s ?Phantom: The American Musical Sensation? and Andrew Lloyd Webber?s ?Cats.? Each production will run for three weeks, which is a week longer than usual for the Moonlight. Season packages for the 2009 Summer Season are on sale beginning May 1, and single tickets are available beginning May 30 at the VisTix Ticket Office, 600 Eucalyptus Avenue, or by calling (760) 724-2110.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (David Van Asselt, Artistic Director and Sandra Coudert, Managing Director) continues its 14th anniversary season with the World Premiere of That Pretty Pretty; or, The Rape Play, a new comedy by Sheila Callaghan, directed by Kip Fagan (Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, Nelson). Performances begin Tuesday, February 10th. Opening night is Monday, February 23rd at 7pm. The show will run through Sunday, March 15th.
