Road Theatre's World Premiere of Emilie Beck's SOVEREIGN BODY to Begin 3/29

THE ROAD THEATRE COMPANY and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, announced today that the world premiere of SOVEREIGN BODY, written by Emilie Beck and directed by Scott Alan Smith (That Good Night, Lady) will now preview on Saturday, March 29 at 8pm; Sunday, March 30 at 2pm and Thursday, April 3 at 8pm and will open on Friday, April 4 at 8pm and run through Saturday, May 24 at the Historic Lankershim Arts Center, 5108 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood, CA.

Tickets for THE COMPLETE & CONDENSED STAGE DIRECTIONS OF EUGENE O'NEILL, VOLUME 2, produced by the celebrated performance collective the New York Neo-Futurists in association with Theater for the New City (Crystal Field Executive Director) go on sale on Saturday, March 1. Adapted and directed by Christopher Loar, THE COMPLETE & CONDENSED STAGE DIRECTIONS OF EUGENE O'NEILL, VOLUME 2, begins performances on Thursday, April 17 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 11. Press Opening is Monday, April 28 at 8 PM. Performances take place at Theater for the New City (155 1st Avenue, between East 9th and East 10th Streets, in the East Village). The performance schedule is Wednesday - Saturday at 8 PM; Sunday at 3 PM, with added performances on Monday, April 28 and Monday, May 5 at 8 PM. The Pearl Theatre Company continues its 30th anniversary season-the second season in its new home on West 42nd Street-with a new production of No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre, adapted from the French by Paul Bowles. Linda Ames Key, making her Pearl debut, directs this touchstone of French existentialism in its first Off-Broadway production in over 15 years.
