BAM has just announced its full 2012 line-up, according to the NY Times, which is set to include the previously reported RICHARD III led by Kevin Spacey. Impro Theatre (Dan O'Connor, Artistic Director) announced a limited engagement of three productions in repertory which will perform at The Carrie Hamilton Theatre at The Pasadena Playhouse. The Pasadena premiere of TENNESSEE WILLIAMS UNSCRIPTED will be joined by the Los Angeles premieres of CHEKHOV UNSCRIPTED and TWILIGHT ZONE UNSCRIPTED. Performances take place through November 13, 2011, with an official press opening for all three productions on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at The Carrie Hamilton Theatre (39 S. El Molino Avenue, Pasadena).

Josh Hamilton Joins Cast of Classic Stage Company's CHERRY ORCHARD

Josh Hamilton, who won rave reviews last season in Classic Stage Company's production of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, has joined the company's upcoming production of Chekhov's tragicomic masterpiece THE CHERRY ORCHARD in the role of Trofimov. Hamilton replaces Christian Carmago, who has withdrawn from the production due to a film role. THE CHERRY ORCHARD, which features John Turturro (Lopakhin), Dianne Wiest (Ranevskaya), , Ken Cheeseman (Pischick), Daniel Davis (Gaev), Alvin Epstein (Fiers), Slate Holmgren (Yasha), Roberta Maxwell (Charlotta), Juliet Rylance (Varya), Michael Urie (Yepikhodov), Elisabeth Waterston (Dunyasha) and Katherine Waterston (Anya), begins performances Wednesday, November 16 at CSC (136 East 13th Street). Directed by Andrei Belgrader, with a translation by John Christopher Jones, THE CHERRY ORCHARD will play a limited engagement through Friday, December 23. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, December 4 at 7pm.

NO BOUNDARIES: A SERIES OF GLOBAL PERFORMANCES, presented by Yale Repertory Theatre (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) and World Performance Project at Yale (Joseph Roach, Principal Investigator; Emily Coates, Artistic Director), announces its 2011-12 season, which includes the American premiere of Engagement Féminin: An Evening of West African Contemporary Dance, created and performed by Art' Dév/Compagnie Auguste-Bienvenue, based in Burkina Faso, West Africa; Spectral Scriabin, a collaboration between pianist Eteri Andjaparidze and lighting designer Jennifer Tipton, featuring the music of Russian composer Alexander Scriabin; and Neva, an ensemble theatre piece performed by Chile's Teatro en el Blanco.
