Classic Stage Company's PASSION Extends Through April 14

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that their critically-acclaimed new production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical PASSION, directed by John Doyle (director of the acclaimed Broadway revivals of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd and Company), will extend by popular demand through Sunday, April 14 at CSC (136 East 13th Street). PASSION stars Melissa Errico (Clara), Judy Kuhn (Fosca) and Ryan Silverman (Giorgio). The production also features Stephen Bogardus (Colonel Ricci), Jeffry Denman (Lieutenant Barri), Jason Michael Evans (Private Augenti), Ken Krugman (Lieutenant Torasso), Orville Mendoza (Sergeant Lombardi), Tom Nelis (Doctor Tambourri), Will Reynolds (Major Rizzoli/Ludovic), John Antony (understudy) and Amy Justman (understudy).

WaterTower Theatre to Host Saturday Morning Drama Classes for Children, Beg. 3/23

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced a series of new Saturday morning acting classes for children. The 7-week course, designed for children in grades 1 through 4, starts Saturday, March 23 and goes to Saturday, May 4, 2013. The cost is $315 per child.

The Public Theater will begin previews for the English language premiere of NEVA, written and directed by Guillermo Calderon, tonight, March 1. NEVA will run through Sunday, March 31 in The Public's Anspacher, with an official press opening on Monday, March 11. Guillermo Calderon's criticaly acclaimed production, DICIEMBRE, was seen as part of The Public's 2011 Under the Radar Festival.
