Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis -- Tania Camargo, Managing Director; Patricia Wolff, Interim Artistic Director; James D'Asaro, Interim Producing Director) announce Artistic Advisors and programming for the 2015-2016 Season, opening October 1-3 with Twyla Tharp: a 50th Anniversary Celebration, a program of new work by Ms. Tharp, co-commissioned by The Wallis (in partnership with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Joyce Theatre, Ravina Festival Association & Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University and Texas International Theatrical Arts Society).

This winter, Alexander Greenfield - Associate Director of the acclaimed Broadway production of Outside Mullingar and The City of Conversation at Lincoln Center - directs Libra Theater Company's production of Tom Diggs' new play KIND SOULS, performing January 16 - February 1 at Theatre 54. The cast includes Lindsey Kyler (The Seagull at New York Classical Theatre) and John Clarence Stewart (Choir Boy at Manhattan Theatre Club / The Alliance Theatre). Opening is slated for January 18.

After two extensions, the Lincoln Center Theater's critically-acclaimed production of The City of Conversation ends its Off-Broadway run today. The City of Conversation was written by Anthony Giardina and directed by Doug Hughes. It originally opened on May 5.

Douglas Carter Beane's 2013 drama The Nance, produced by Lincoln Center Theater and headlined by two-time Tony Award-winning actor Nathan Lane, comes to more than 300 movie theatres in the U.S. and Canada for a limited run beginning today, June 23, 2014, during Gay Pride Week in many cities. In The Nance, celebrated playwright Douglas Carter Beane tells the story of Chauncey Miles (Nathan Lane), a headline nance performer in the twilight of New York burlesque's era. Integrating burlesque sketches into his drama, Beane paints the portrait of a homosexual man living and working in the secretive and dangerous gay world of 1930's New York, whose outrageous antics on the burlesque stage stand in marked contrast to his messy offstage life. This presentation is made possible by Screenvision, a leading innovator in cinema advertising, and Lincoln Center, the world's leading performing arts center.

LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and engaging new audiences, will produce the New York premiere of brownsville song (b-side for tray), a new play by Kimber Lee, this fall. The production, to be directed by Patricia McGregor, will begin performances Saturday, October 4, running for six weeks only through Sunday, November 16 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).
