Jesse L. Martin on Board for HALLELUJAH Pilot

According to EW.com, Broadway veteran Jesse L. Martin is set to star in the pilot of Marc Cherry's latest development, Hallelujah. The show will feature a goaspel choir 'greek chorus' and will take place in Hallelujah, Tennessee. Further details on the pilot have not yet been released.

Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow's world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah's Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week. Guy Torry takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday, with supporting acts Larry Brown and Lachlan Patterson. Improv shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating, an Improv t-shirt and post-show meet-and-greet with the comics. TNT Confirms: No 21st Season for 'Law & Order' Here

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that reps for TNT have squashed rumors that they may be picking up a 21st season of 'Law & Order.' After announcing its cancellation from NBC a few weeks rumors began to swirl that the show might be picked up by cable network, TNT, which already airs re-runs of the 20 season show. 'Law & Order' creator, Dick Wolf was interested in airing the show's 21st season on TNT, thereby setting the record for the longest-running television series ('Law and Order' is currerntly tied with 'Gunsmoke.')
