Choreographer Doug Elkins and co-directors Barbara Karger and Michael Preston have announced that they will conclude a three-year tour of the acclaimed production Fräulein Maria at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, today, August 22 through August 26. The Casting Society of America CSA) announced today the nominations for the organization's 28th Annual Artios Awards for outstanding achievement in casting given in 22 categories including film, television and theater. The CSA will fete their own on Monday, October 29, 2012 with award ceremonies to be held simultaneously at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. PDT) and at XL Nightclub, Cabaret & Lounge (512 West 42nd Street) in New York (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. EDT). Honorees for this year's Career Achievement Award, Hoyt Bowers Award and The New York Apple will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival, LC Productions and Julie Miller will present the world premiere of ZAPATA! The Musical, a revolutionary musical that tells the story of Emiliano Zapata, hero of the Mexican revolution, who appears in the 21st century to inspire a member of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

The Wild Project will host Colt Coeur's RECALL from tonight, June 8 to July 7, 2012, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt. The cast are Katya Campbell, Owen Campbell, Jordyn DiNatale, Caleb Scott, and Colleen Werthmann.

The Concord-based Summer Stages Dance at Concord Academy is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and as part of the celebratory lineup of events throughout the season will present Misters and Sisters ?
