Producer Mark Cortale's Broadway concert series, hosted by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky, has announced that Tony Award nominee and star of The CW's Supergirl Jeremy Jordan will join the internationally acclaimed series at NOCCA in New Orleans on Friday, March 29 at 8:00 PM.

After the phenomenal 2016 and 2018 sell out concerts, Broadway and TV star Jeremy Jordan will return to Cadogan Hall in London on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th October 2019.

According to Deadline, Zac Efron and Anna Kendrick are both set to lend their voices to the upcoming animated comedy HUMAN DISCOVERIES for Facebook Watch. The enw series comes from Chris Bruno, David Howard Lee, Corey Campodonico, Alex Bulkley and Ninja's Runnin' Wild. 

BroadwayWorld has teamed up with Broadway alum Ilana Levine, who makes her entrance onto the podcast stage with her new show Little Known Facts. Ilana's unique brand of celebrity interview, 'Podcast Verite,' is unfiltered, raw, honest and uniquely funny.

ng their acclaimed run last September, West Virginia Public Theatre (WVPT) returns to Monongalia Arts Center over Valentine's Day Weekend for a strictly limited three-show revival. The Last Five Years, which won both 'Best Musical' and 'Best Actor in a Musical' in the 2018 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards, is an intimate, funny, and devastatingly honest examination of life and love. The production opens today, February 14 at 8pm, with additional shows on February 15 at 8pm and February 17 at 2pm. There is no performance on Saturday the 16th. All performances will take place in the Tanner Theatre at Monongalia Arts Center (MAC).

SHOWTIME has announced that Paco Cabezas (PENNY DREADFUL, The Alienist) is set to direct multiple episodes of PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS, the next chapter of the PENNY DREADFUL saga. Oscar® nominee John Logan, creator, writer and executive producer of the Emmy nominated series PENNY DREADFUL, will continue in those same roles. Production on the drama series is expected to begin later this year. The announcement was made by Gary Levine, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., at the Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour.

Jason Robert Brown's landmark musical Songs for a New World (New York City Center 2018 Encores! Off-Center Cast Recording) is released today, Friday, January 25, in streaming and digital formats, in addition to a two-CD set. This is the show's first recording since the world premiere album over 20 years ago. In the ensuing years, these songs have become staples of contemporary musical theater, including the modern standard "Stars and the Moon." According to Deadline, Joe Penna and Ryan Morrison have signed a TV and movie first-look deal with Topic Studios. Their feature, 'Arctic,' was an official selection at last May's Cannes Film Festival . Topic, Penna, and Morrison recently collaborated on an anthology series.

Jason Robert Brown's next big musical project is on its way to the stage!According to an Equity casting notice, his adaptation of the 1993 film Farewell My Concubine will get a staged reading February 11-15. The project, which features a book by Kenneth Lin, will receive direction by Moises Kaufman and musical direction by Thomas Murray.

Happy New Year to the Syracuse area theater community! We have a new year filled a variety of theatrical productions throughout the greater Syracuse area coming up! We are fortunate to live in an area that has so many talented actors, technicians, and directors as well as dedicated theater companies - not to mention supportive theatergoers. From the local theaters to the Equity tours that come through the area, we are lucky that Syracuse offers many opportunities to experience live theater. Having seen countless productions in this area since I was young and reviewed many shows for the past few years, I thought I would take a moment to share which productions I am most excited about in 2019!

XYZ Films and CAA Media Finance announce Academy Award® nominee Toni Collette has joined Anna Kendrick in the cast of the sci-fi thriller STOWAWAY, which marks the second feature film from Joe Penna and Ryan Morrison, the duo behind the Cannes Official Selection Arctic. The film now boasts two Academy Award® nominated actresses in lead roles, with additional casting currently underway.
