On Tuesday, February 11, singer Lorna Luft debuted her new nightclub act at Birdland - and there were some showbiz heavy-hitters in the house to cheer her on! Lorna's bff Barry Manilow (on his night off from an 8-show week of Broadway concerts) led the applause, sister Liza Minnelli started the first of many standing ovations, and playwright/actor Charles Busch cheered heartily. What a glorious night of singing at the Disney Concert Hall on Grammy Award Sunday February 10! Singular singing sensation Ann Hampton Callaway presented the Streisand Songbook in honor of her mentor. On stage with Callaway was Alan Bergman, one half of the Alan and Marilyn Bergman composing team who have written 64 songs for Barbra over the years.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present the BOSTON POPS, under the baton of KEITH LOCKHART, with special guest star ANN HAMPTON CALLAWAY in a thrilling tribute to the music of the legendary Barbra Streisand and an homage to the best of Broadway. This engagement marks the finale of the 2012-2013 Knight Masterworks Season Pops Series on March 5, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall.

As audiences begin to thaw out from the winter frost, Centenary Stage Company welcomes all to the theater. This March, CSC has a witty Irish play that helps audiences get in the St. Patrick's Day spirit, a CSC premiere performance for families of a popular kids book brought to life, a one-woman theatre extravaganza from a legendary Broadway star, a free staged reading presented by two theater greats talking about another theater great-Anton Chekov, and a weekend full of Blues music with world-renowned musical artists like Johnny Winter.

Ann Hampton Callaway, one of the leading champions of the Great American Songbook, brings the Los Angeles debut of The Streisand Songbook to the Walt Disney Concert Hall stage, Sunday, February 10, at 7:30 pm. The special evening features Callaway singing timeless classics from five decades of Barbra Streisand's multi-faceted career, including "People," "Don't Rain on My Parade," "Evergreen," and "Cry Me a River." The lyrics of the acclaimed team of Alan and Marilyn Bergman will also be featured during the concert, and Alan Bergman will make a special cameo appearance to share stories about the years of collaboration he and his wife shared with Ms. Streisand, as well as to perform some cherished songs. Callaway is also joined by an all-star trio: Christian Jacob on piano, Trey Henry on bass, and MB Gordy on drums.
