Actress Liz Holtan has joined the cast of the upcoming CBS comedy pilot FRIEND ME. Holton joins previously announced cast members Chris Mintz-Plasse and Nicholas Braun. The project is scripted by Alan Kirschenbaum and Ajay Sahgal.

On Friday, the show announced that it would push back it's official press opening to accommodate its star, Lily Rabe whose mother, actress Jill Clayburgh sadly passed away at 66 on November 5. Hartford Stage has announced a dynamic 2010-2011 season which includes Tony winners Ben Vereen and Chita Rivera in their SummerStage program. Both will be presenting back to back solo shows each with one week runs at the Roberts Theatre just outside of Hartford. Rivera will play there June 22 to 27 and Vereen July 6 to 11.
