NBC has entered a deal to co-produce 12 episodes of the half-hour singlecam comedy 'Working the Engels' from producers Halfire-CORE Entertainment in partnership with Shaw Media.

Four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) recently assumed the role of 'Berthe' in PIPPIN on September 24th. Feldshuh previously played the role during Tony Award winner Andrea Martin's vacation in August. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the star in action!

According to an Equity casting notice, On the Town might be heading back to Broadway. Casting will soon take place for a developmental lab on December 8-19, with an anticipated Broadway revival in early 2014. The project will feature direction by John Rando, who also helmed a 2008 Encores production, and choreography by Josh Bergasse.

According to Deadline, NBC has given a put pilot commitment to a single-camera comedy from the mother-daughter duo, who are also set to star and executive produce. The project, titled GROWING IVY, is written by Martino and Will McCormack.

Mary J. Davis presents DISASTER!, written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, at St. Luke's Theatre beginning today, October 14, and opening Monday, November 4. DISASTER! is a musical based on 1970's disaster movies with a score consisting of 1970's pop, rock and disco hit songs. As rumored since she took over briefly while Andrea Martin was on vacation, the producers of the Tony Award winning PIPPIN recently confirmed that four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) will assume the role of 'Berthe' in the production beginning tonight, September 24th. Two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin played her final performance in the role on Sunday, September 22nd. Feldshuh previously played 'Berthe' during Martin's vacation. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45thStreet).
