On Thursday, October 29, Delete Blood Cancer DMKS held their second annual Halloween-themed Blood Ball, a fundraising event supporting the organizations' work in the fight against blood cancers, at The Box in New York City. The fundraiser raised enough money to register thousands of new potential bone marrow donors.

Laugh It Up, Stare It Down, a new play written by Alan Hruska and directed by Chris Eigeman, will conclude its limited engagement on Oct. 10, BroadwayWorld has confirmed. The production began it's limited engagement on August 26th with opening night held September 9th.

On June 20th, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation's founding chairs Emily Levin Esq. and Julie Ratner Ed. D held their 20th annual gala to celebrate their achievements over the past two decades and to honor Andy Sabin for his environmental and philanthropic work. Over Thanksgiving weekend, SHOWTIME will be airing full catch-up marathons of the current seasons of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series HOMELAND beginning on Saturday, November 29th at 3 p.m. ET/PT, and the critically-acclaimed new drama THE AFFAIR on Sunday, November 30th starting at 4 p.m. ET/PT. Viewers can also catch up on the current seasons via SHOWTIME ON DEMAND and SHOWTIME ANYTIME. New episodes of both hit series return on Sunday, December 7th starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The marathon event comes after the recently announced pick-ups of THE AFFAIR for a second season and of HOMELAND for a fifth season.

Showtime has just released the trailer for Season 4 of HOMELAND, and according to TV Guide, the story starts six months after the end of Season 3.
