Au Collective presents the World Premiere of GOLD&SKIN at 12th Avenue Arts Theater (1620 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122), this weekend, September 10-12 at 7:30pm.

 Following a critically-acclaimed and sold out run at the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival, Christopher Duva's adaptation of David Foster Wallace's essay, A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again, returns for a limited run as part of the Fringe Encore Series.

Maher Benham and Coyote Dancers announce three evenings of works choreographed by Ms. Benham, and dedicated to her company's beloved teacher, mentor, and friend Dudley Williams (1938-2015).   The evening will feature the world premiere of Ms. Benham's 'A Song for Dudley,' along with Coyote repertory works, including 'Eight for Martha,' dedicated to Martha Graham, October 23-25 at the Martha Graham Studio Theatre.  The Coyote resident ensemble of 16 dancers will be joined by a distinguished roster of guests, most either past or current members of the Martha Graham Dance Company.   Presented by Maher Benham and Coyote Dancers in collaboration with Deborah Zall and Classic Contemporary Dance Heritage, Ltd.

Rehearsals start this week at The 5th Avenue Theatre for the sweeping new musical, Waterfall, featuring Laura Griffith (Broadway: Sweet Smell of Success, The Light in the Piazza), Thom Sesma (Broadway: The Times They are A-Changin', Man of La Mancha), J. Elaine Marcos (Broadway: Annie, Priscilla Queen of the Desert), and Thai pop superstar Bie Sukrit. This epic new Broadway-bound musical love story features a distinguished international creative team and a cast of 20. Seattle is the second of two locales where this unique and exciting musical is being developed after completing a popular and critically successful run at the Pasadena Playhouse in June. 

 Company XIV has announced their 2015-2016 Off-Broadway season, which will include three adult only shows: the world premiere of Cinderella, a revival of their sexy hit holiday show Nutcracker Rouge, and the world premiere of Snow White, all conceived, directed and choreographed by Drama Desk Award nominee Austin McCormick.

MIDDLESEX and MERCER COUNTIES, NJ - This September, American Repertory Ballet and Princeton Ballet School will be participating in community events throughout Central Jersey: Cranbury Day in Cranbury, Septemberfest in Hamilton, the Hub City Sounds Festival in New Brunswick, and Highland Park's Arts in the Park. 

Today, August 29th the Orpheum Theatre will unveil its newest and grandest art installation, 'Orpheus Ascending' by world-renowned sculptor Richard MacDonald. MacDonald will be present at the event and honored for his work. The dedication will coincide with the Orpheum's 21st Annual Art Sale, taking place from 1:00 - 4:00 PM.

On Friday and Saturday, September 25th and 26th, choreographer, Gaspard Louis will bring his company, Gaspard & Dancers to perform their Trilogy which pays tribute to the people of Haiti who endured the horrific 2010 earthquake that caused devastation to the island nation. “The Trilogy was my own personal response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake,” says choreographer and Artistic Director, Gaspard Louis.

American Repertory Ballet's performance season will open at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ with a week of events, presentations, and performances celebrating 5 years of Artistic Director Douglas Martin's artistic leadership.

The Joyce Theater Foundation, Linda Shelton Executive Director, proudly kicks-off its 2015 fall season on September 22 with a world premiere by Camille A. Brown & Dancers. The work, BLACK GIRL: Linguistic Play, will be performed by an all-female cast during the company's week-long engagement at The Joyce, which runs through September 27. New York City Center today announced three diverse dance engagements which complete programming for the 2015-16 season.

(New York) August 18, 2015 — The Ailey Extension welcomes three of the hottest dancers and choreographers in the commercial industry for a weekend-long Heels Intensive Friday, August 21 – Sunday, August 23. Viral video sensation Yanis Marshall comes all the way from Paris to lead a weekend of high heels dance workshops with Danielle Polanco and Aisha Francis. Students at the Advanced Beginner level and higher are invited to attend this fierce and dynamic intensive. Heels required!

  (Marblehead, Massachusetts; August 17, 2015) – The Marblehead School of Ballet (MSB) celebrates its 44th anniversary season this fall with a full line-up of classes for 2015-2016.  The new dance semester begins Monday, August 31.  Classes are taught at the school's studio, located at 115 Pleasant Street, in Marblehead, Massachusetts. 

Among them, the company can claim 18 Tony Awards, 4 Pulitzer Prizes, 6 Pulitzer finalist distinctions, 3 Emmy Awards, and 2 Academy Awards; to list all their honors would take several pages.

New and recent works by PUSH Dance Company and leading mid-career and emerging dance artists from the Bay Area and beyond will be featured during PUSHfest 2015, presented by PUSH Dance Company, a San Francisco-based contemporary dance company, founded by artistic Director Raissa Simpson. PUSHfestis a mixed-genre dance festival that showcases the work of  mid-career and emerging choreographers alongside the PUSH Company at San Francisco's ODC Theater (3153 17th Street) on September 18-20, 2015. Program A will be performed on Friday, September 18, at 8pm and Sunday, September 20, at 4pm. American Repertory Ballet, New Jersey's preeminent classical and contemporary ballet company, will perform throughout New Jersey - in Princeton, New Brunswick, Lawrenceville, Branchburg, Rahway, Manasquan, South Orange, and Trenton - and at the Joyce Theater in New York City from September 2015 through April 2016. The CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI), a university-wide residency program now in its second year, announces its fall 2015 public events.

General Mischief Dance Theatre presents the World Premiere of Up and Away - Dances for all Hours. Performances will take place on October 11 at 1pm and 6pm at the Goldman-Sonnenfeldt Family Auditorium, JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue, NYC.
