Angelique Kidjo, the Benin born singer/songwriter is celebrating the win last night of her second 'Best World Music Album' Grammy Award for her #1 charting 2014 album Eve, as well as the announcement of her new 429 Records album Sings.

The winners of the '46th NAACP Image Awards' were announced last night during the live broadcast from Pasadena Civic Auditorium which aired on TV One (9-11 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed). This week marks the anniversary of the No. 1 debut of Barry Manilow's mega hit song, 'Mandy,' on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1975. The Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award-winning musician's career skyrocketed to superstardom when the song topped the charts in 1975. In the spirit of that special year, tickets to Manilow's concerts at Nassau Coliseum (March 27), Prudential Center (June 14) and Barclays Center (June 17) are priced to tie into that year and start at $19.75.

Tony winner and Broadway superstar Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem and John Legend will sing 'America The Beautiful' as part of Super Bowl XLIX pregame festivities at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, February 1, the NFL and NBC announced today. The performances will be televised live on NBC prior to kickoff.
