Lyle Courtney Productions announces that the world premiere of Ace, a beat-the-clock comedy written and performed by Emmy Award-winning Letterman writer Ted Greenberg, races into The Marjorie S. Deane Theater (10 West 64th Street). Elizabeth Margid (Alice Eve Cohen's What I Thought I Knew, Matthew Maguire's Wild Man in Rome) directs.

To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of New York State signing of woman's suffrage into law, three years before the US passed the 19th Amendment, Hangar Theatre, Kitchen Theatre Company, Civic Ensemble and Cherry Arts are collaborating on a two-night theater event: Four Plays - 100 Years. Performances will be at Kitchen Theatre Company on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 16 and 17 at 7:30pm.

Writer/performer Alice Eve Cohen, whose solo play What I Thought I Knew closed the 2012-2013 Kitchen Theatre Company season, is back with another play to close another successful season at the Kitchen. Thin Walls is a one-woman play set in a century-old New York City residential hotel, once elegant but now crumbling. This darkly humorous and moving play interweaves stories of the building's long-term residents, its recent arrivals, and its ghosts. Audiences who loved What I Thought I Knew will love this one too! This was the news that greeted Alice Eve Cohen after six months of doctor's appointments and concern over her feelings of lethargy and discomfort - and the alarming lump growing in her abdomen. Cohen's funny and frightening story was the basis for an acclaimed 2009 memoir that she has now adapted for the stage. What I Thought I Knew runs at the Kitchen Theatre from June 12 to 30, with preview performances tonight, June 12 and June 13 and 14. Opening Night is June 15, and the closing performance is on June 30.
