Full Casting Announced For KINKY BOOTS In Wolverhampton

KINKY BOOTS, the winner of every major Best Musical award, is pleased to announce casting for the upcoming UK tour which visits Wolverhampton Grand Theatre from 16 - 27 October 2018. Award-winning Callum Francis will play Lola, Paula Lane, known for her role as Kylie Platt in Coronation Street, will play Lauren and Joel Harper-Jackson will play Charlie.

Asolo Rep continues its 2017-18 season with the celebrated American musical RAGTIME. Directed by Peter Rothstein, founding artistic director of Theater Latte Da in Minneapolis, RAGTIME features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, who all garnered Tony Awards for the production. The original Broadway production was directed by Frank Galati, who received a Tony nomination for his work and is an Associate Artist at Asolo Rep. A collaboration with Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, RAGTIME is currently on stage through May 27 in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. Later this month (26 August 2017) Andrew Lloyd Webber will welcome a new group of kids to his Olivier award-winning production of School of Rock - The Musical at the New London Theatre.  Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, the record breaking West End production of School of Rock - The Musical opened to rave reviews and in April this year the show's 'kids' cast, who play live music on stage at each performance, were the recipients of the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
