EVITA, one of the most passionate and powerful rock operas in Broadway history, will be presented at The Marriott Theatre (10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire), previewing April 13, opening April 20 and running through June 5. 

The Marriott Theatre has completed casting for Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit EVITA. The show tells the story of the charismatic and glamorous first lady of Argentina, Eva Peron.

BroadwayWorld and The Muny announces today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2016 Season, which opens on June 13 with The Wizard of Oz.

PLACAS:  The Most Dangerous Tattoo, the celebrated play by Paul S. Flores, will make its Richmond debut on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Performances take place at East Bay Center for the Performing Arts Iron Triangle Theater.

The Marriott Theatre, Chicagoland's longest-running professional musical theater, announces its 2016 Season!  The award-winning theatre will present both premiere productions of recent Broadway hits, and classic revivals in 2016.  Joining returning directors Nick Bowling (The King & I) and Rachel Rockwell (October Sky) Marriott Theatre announced four directors who will be bringing their fresh and exciting perspectives to the unique, intimate Marriott stage for the very first time, William Brown, Amanda Dehnert, Don Stephenson and Aaron Thielen.  They will be joined by choreographers Matt Raftery and Alex Sanchez, and musical directors Ryan T. Nelson and Doug Peck on the creative teams.

IN THE MOOD, a rhythmic, jazzy, brassy, sentimental, and patriotic 1940s musical revue, featuring a company of 19 on stage, including a thirteen-piece Big Band and six singers and swing dancing, jitterbugs into the Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre for two weeks only, running tonight, May 12 through Sunday, May 24, 2015.

The current production of GUYS AND DOLLS at Goodspeed is infectious, fast, and smart. It does Frank Loesser's topnotch score justice, nailing the balance between vocalists and the pit orchestra, letting us enjoy both the witty lyrics and memorable tunes of so many of the best songs ever written for musical theater.
