Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is returning to Seattle as part of the KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount series. Disney Theatrical Productions announced today that Dean John-Wilson will play the role of Aladdin alongside Jade Ewen as Jasmine in the West End premiere of the new musical based on the classic Academy Award-winning animated film. After thinking a while about what funny pun with plant terminology I could use to describe exactly how I felt about the musical Little Shop of Horrors, now playing at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at Notre Dame for the weekend, I realized the only appropriate words are found in the title above.

ABC just announced its midseason premiere dates, including everyone's favorite musical comedy extravaganza GALAVANT. Season 2 will bow on the network on Sunday, January 3, 2016 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) with two 30-minute episodes, back-to-back.

Quest Theatre Ensemble will bring its visual artistry and immersive theatricality to the Alan Menken-Lynn Ahrens musical version of Dickens' A Christmas Carol. This version with music by Menken, the multiple Oscar winning composer of Disney musicals Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Newsies; and lyrics by the Tony award-winning lyricist of Ragtime, Seussical and Once on this Island, was a hit for ten consecutive seasons at New York's Madison Square Garden and was later filmed by television in a production starring Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge. Quest's production will be directed by Quest Ensemble Director Andrew Park. A Christmas Carol will run from November 20 - December 20, 2015.

Notre Dame's Department of Film, Television, and Theatre (FTT) announces LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, tonight, November 18-22 in the Decio Mainstage Theatre at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. Directed and choreographed by guest artist Nathan Halvorson, who previously helmed FTT's production of Cabaret (2013), LITTLE SHOP will also feature puppets by special effects makeup artist and puppeteer RJ Haddy, who was a finalist on Season 2 of the Syfy channel's reality competition series FACE OFF.

The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for new series "Of Kings & Prophets," "My Diet Is Better Than Yours," "The Catch," "The Family" and "The Real O'Neals."  Season premiere dates were also announced for returning favorites "The Bachelor," "Beyond The Tank," "Galavant" and "Marvel's Agent Carter." They will join the schedule with acclaimed series "American Crime," previously announced to make its second-season premiere WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6.

The Fort Lauderdale engagement of Disney's NEWSIES -- the Tony Award-winning production -- begins performances at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts tonight, November 17 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 29, 2015.
