Our Productions Theatre Co. is anything but ordinary. Neither is the first musical of their 2015 Inaugural Season, Ordinary Days. The regional premiere of the acclaimed new production, is written by Adam Gwon, a composer and lyricist named one of '50 to Watch' by The Dramatist magazine, and winner of the 2008 Fred Ebb award for excellence in musical theater songwriting. Gwon's musical Ordinary Days recently enjoyed a sold-out run at the Finborough Theatre in London, after making its world premiere at Pennsylvania Centre Stage and appearing in the 2008 NAMT Festival of New Musicals and the 2008 ASCAP/Disney Musical Theatre Workshop. Mostly Sondheim, the long-running musical theater open mic at The Duplex Cabaret, will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Friday January 23rd at 11:30pm. Hosts Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida) and Colleen Harris (Songs at the New World), along with musical director Brian Nash (Silence! the Musical), will welcome past hosts, talented regulars, and open mic volunteers to the stage to commemorate ten years of music and comedy.
