Epic Theatre Ensemble has announced the creation of an Artist Advisory Council (AAC) to further its goal of empowering young people by connecting them to professional theatre-makers.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company's revival of Henry IV, Part 2 is a fine production filled with terrific acting and some wonderful ensemble moments. Nevertheless, that doesn't stop the play from failing to achieve the dramatic excellence of its prequel.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents Shakespeare's Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2 as part of the Clarice Smith Repertory. The 2nd Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) Awards were held Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Bleecker Street Theatre, located at 45 Bleecker Street, winners were announced in 33 separate categories.

On Friday, September 5, at 8pm the Midtown International Theater Festival Awards will take place. The MITF Awards will honor the best shows and performances from the recently completed Ninth Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, which took place from July 14-August 10 of this year.
