When Grant Maloy Smith performs traditional Christmas songs, he does so in a non-traditional way. The multi-award-winning singer/songwriter’s latest album, THE CHRISTMAS HEART (Tiger Turn/Suburban Cowboy Records), features 10 tracks, two of which are original while the rest offer a unique musical interpretation of classic tunes.

The New Musicals Lab (NML) at the Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, is making space for new musical works by providing Artist Residencies with access to world-class facilities, funding, and student and Broadway talent.

The Improvised Broadway Musical, co-created by New York improv veterans Ali Reed and Adrien Pellerin, and co-creator director-choreographer Ilana Ransom Toeplitz, was the premiere workshop-based production at the New Musicals Lab at the Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts at Christopher Newport University.

Inspired by people, places and events relevant to Appalachia, the album features 12 original songs about the impact of coal, faith, family, the opioid crisis, and the call of the mountains.

Independent artist collective - known as the Indie Collaborative - proudly made their debut public performance at the world famous Carnegie Hall at the Weill Recital Hall in New York City on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 8 PM. Northwestern University's Dolphin Show, America's largest student-produced musical, is proud to announce that its 75th annual production, Little Shop of Horrors, will tour Bosnia and Herzegovina after a successful run in Cahn Auditorium this past January.  The tour is part of the U.S. Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina's cultural diplomacy program and will be the first production of this well-loved musical in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Today, 2 November, the National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse will release over 300,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings at the New London Theatre to 23 October 2010.

From 30 September 2009, a new cast of actors and puppeteers will join the National Theatre?s award-winning West End hit War Horse which is currently playing to packed houses at the New London Theatre. The National?s sell-out production of Nick Stafford?s adaptation of Michael Morpurgo?s book which transferred to the West End in March this year, has recently welcomed its 100,000th visitor to the New London Theatre. In June this year 150,000 new tickets were released for sale, taking bookings up to 12 February 2010.

Full casting is now confirmed for the West End Transfer of the National Theatre?s sell-out production of Michael Morpurgo?s War Horse, adapted by Nick Stafford. War Horse will run at the New London Theatre from 28 March booking until 26 September with press night on 3 April.
