You didn't Have to talk back to your TV last night… Dick Cavett Was “Live” at the Friars Club. The tables, (and microphones) were turned on the legendary Talk Show Host as SIRIUS XM Radio personality Pete Dominick interviewed Mr. Cavett.  The “Monestary” wasn't at all quiet as Friars had a lively Q&A after the interview with the man who had Talk Shows on ABC, CBS, PBS and USA Networks.

?HBO DOCUMENTARY FILMS has acquired U.S. TV rights to BODY TEAM 12, winner of the Tribeca Film Festival award for best documentary short and recently nominated for an International Documentary Association award for best short.

Penn Jillette and Teller make their long-awaited return to the Broadway stage this summer with Penn & Teller On Broadway, now in performances at the Marquis Theatre (46th Street between Broadway and 8th). Abingdon Theatre Company - which has produced more than 83 new American plays in its 22-year history - just celebrated its 2014-2015 Season with ABINGDON: WHERE THE STARS ALIGN, its annual benefit gala and dinner,on October 20 at Espace (635 West 42nd Street in Manhattan). The entertaining evening honored Emmy Award-winning talk show host and actor Dick Cavett, star of Hellman v. McCarthy at Abingdon last season, and philanthropist Dr. Vijay K. Anand, a world-renowned endoscopic sinus surgeon and avid supporter of the arts.

Directed by Tony Award-winner and frequent Sondheim collaborator James Lapine, SIX BY SONDHEIM is a highly personal profile of a great American artist as revealed through the creation and performance of six of his iconic songs. Told primarily in Sondheim's own words, this feature documentary weaves together dozens of interviews with the composer, rarely seen archival material spanning more than half a century (including newly discoveRed Footage of Ethel Merman performing 'Gypsy') and re-stagings of three songs produced especially for the film. Executive produced by James Lapine and Frank Rich, the exclusive HBO presentation debuts MONDAY, DEC. 9 (9:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT).
