Under the direction of Artistic Director Hal Brooks, the Cape Cod Theatre Project has a long history of presenting some of America's best new plays. John Cariani Stars in His New Play LOVE / SICK, Beginning Tonight


Royal Family Production's World Premiere of John Cariani's (Almost, Maine) LOVE/SICK begins performances tonight (February 6, 2015). LOVE/SICK is directed by Chris Henry with movement by JoAnn M Hunter, original music and lyrics by Bart Kuebler, Chris Henry, and Lars Jacobsen with arrangements by Bart Kuebler, the show is being presented by Royal Family Productions (Katie Avebe, Mary Bernardi, Chris Henry and Andy Theodorou, Founders). The show will open on February 9 through February 26, 2015 at Royal Family's new home in Times Square at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th St.).

John Cariani to Star in His New Play LOVE / SICK at Royal Family Performing Arts Space


Due to an injury, star of the upcoming Broadway musical Something Rotten!, John Cariani will be performing double duty as he will step into his newest play LOVE / SICK, replacing an injured Justin Hagan until he is able to return to the production.

Almost Maine is one of the countries most produced plays, this February; Royal Family Productions (Katie Avebe, Mary Bernardi, Chris Henry and Andy Theodorou, Founders) will present the New York premiere of John Cariani's follow-up play LOVE / SICK. Directed by Chris Henry and featuring choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, LOVE / SICK will begin performances on February 6 and open on February 9 through February 26, 2015 at Royal Family's new home in Times Square at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th St.). Hamish Linklater, Johanna Day, Michael Zegen and More Set for Cape Cod Theatre Project's 20th Season


Artistic Director Hal Brooks has announced that the 20th Season of the Cape Cod Theatre Project, featuring staged readings of new work by Cory Hinkle, Hamish Linklater, Seth Moore and the Lobbyists, and Alena Smith is now cast. Obie Winner and Tony Nominee Johanna Day will be joined by Girls star Michael Zegen and others.

The Vineyard Theatre will present a one-night-only reading of Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize- winning play HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE tonight, Monday, July 1st at 8:00 PM. Reuniting for the first time since its celebrated premiere at The Vineyard in 1997 will be the original company: Mary-Louise Parker as 'L'il Bit,' David Morse as 'Uncle Peck,' Johanna Day, Kerry O'Malley and Justin Hagan. The reading, staged by the production's original director, Mark Brokaw, will take place at The Vineyard Theatre, located at 108 E. 15 Street.
