The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.

IRC Voice Morena Baccarin, Ben McKenzie, Patina Miller, Deborah Ayorinde, Laura Osnes and Nikki M. James were just a few of the many supporters who joined the International Rescue Committee last night for their annual GenR Summer Party at Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. The International Rescue Committee (IRC) just hosted its 6th Annual GenR Summer Party. GenR, short for Generation Rescue, is a group of young and influential humanitarians who have joined forces with the IRC to help people affected by crisis to survive and rebuild their lives. Proceeds from this event support the IRC's critical humanitarian work.

On November 14th at 9:30PM the cast of POP NATION gathered at 54 Below to sing the greatest hits of their favorite late '90s boy bands and pop princesses. Audiences heard their favorite tunes by the Backstreet Boys, *N'Sync, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, O-Town and more as this close-knit cast celebrates and remembers one of the greatest eras in Pop Music history. BroadwayWorld has just learned that POP NATION, a theatrical social event merging music, theater and the nightclub experience, has delayed performances at Hudson (356 W. 58th Street at 9th Avenue). THe show was previously set to begin previews on November 14th with opening night set for January 8th. POP NATION has original music and lyrics by Damon Intrabartolo (bare, 'Superman Returns,' 'X Men 2') and book by Kenny Finkle (Indoor/Outdoor). A press representative has confirmed that the show will now begin in mid December because 'mounting the massive production has taken longer than expected.'
