The Winter Park Playhouse, Central Florida's professional musical theatre, has revealed their 2024-2025 Mainstage Series of musical productions! 

The season will conclude in the summer of 2022 with a 50th Anniversary production of Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak’s musical GODSPELL, directed by the company’s newly appointed Managing and Casting Director Christopher Pazdernik and choreographed by Jeff award-winner Jenna Schoppe (She/Her).

On Friday, January 17, I had the pleasure of seeing 8-TRACK THE SOUNDS OF THE 70S at the Connecticut Cabaret Theatre in Berlin, CT.  This new musical conceived by Rick Seeber constitutes performances of mainstream United States chart-topping songs from the 1970s.  Incredibly talented singers Jason Beaulieu, Dan Frye, Emily Gray, and Erica Whitfield have excellent stage chemistry and vocal harmony with each other in this musical event under the wonderful direction of Kris McMurray.

8-Track: The Sounds of the 70s In Concert returns to Bridgeport's Downtown Cabaret Theatre for an extended stay opening Friday, April 19 and continuing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through May 12 (2013).

The Willows Theatre Company will end its run of the musical revue 8-Track: The Sounds of the 70's on April 18th at the Campbell Theatre, 636 Ward Street in Martinez. 8-Track is conceived by Rick Seeber and directed by Richard Elliott, with musical direction by Timothy Hanson.

The Human Race Theatre Company will begin the 2010-2011 Eichelberger Loft Season of The Human Race in a special collaboration away from The Loft, and will end it with a musical which it helped develop. In between, Dayton's own professional producing theatre will provide plenty of drama, comedy, and music for all.
