Redmand Rance BIO

Red is 14 and lives with his family in North Boarhunt, Fareham, and attends Ditcham Park School, Petersfield. He enjoys guitar lessons. From the age of four he has attended Marie Clarke School of Dance, Portsmouth where he studies ISTD tap, modern, jazz and ballet.

Theatre includes: Oliver! Kings Theatre. Billy Elliot in a Billy Youth Production for STP Musicals (Fernham Hall, Fareham). In July 2011 Redmand got to the All England Dance Finals and won first place with his partner in Modern Duet. This resulted in a further performance at the prestigious Gala Award night. His Debut at Victoria Palace Sept 22nd 2012 playing Billy Elliot. Returned to the Victoria Palace Sept 2014 to be a part of a Billy Mash Up Live (screening at local Cinemas )

Television includes: BBC Ident Skating with the Penguins. Played Vince in Cbbc production of Hetty Feather 2014

Ruthie Henshall To Join Cast Of BILLY ELLIOT!


Olivier award-winning actor Ruthie Henshall is to join the cast of Billy Elliot the Musical to play Billy's dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson. Henshall's first performance will be 12 May 2014, nine years to the day sinceBilly Elliot the Musical officially opened at the Victoria Palace Theatre. The internationally celebrated show which has now been seen by over 9.5 million people worldwide is currently booking to 16 May 2015and features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall. Stephen Daldry directs with choreography by Peter Darling.

UK-Wide Auditions For BILLY ELLIOT in 2014


Beginning January 2014, auditions for the children's cast of Billy Elliot the Musical will take place countrywide to find young boys and girls to join the internationally acclaimed show which is now in its ninth year at the Victoria Palace Theatre in the West End. 2014 auditions take place on 11 January in Leeds, 1 February in Newcastle, 15 March in London, 26 April in Bristol and 17 May in Manchester.

Today, 9 December 2013, 13 year old Mitchell Tobin from Florida, USA, will become the thirty-sixth boy and the eighth American to play Billy Elliot in the West End, having previously played the title role in the North American touring production. Billy Elliot the Musical is now in its ninth year at the Victoria Palace Theatre where it is currently booking to May 2015. Having now been seen by nearly 9.5 million people worldwide,Billy Elliot the Musical has been the recipient of over 80 major international awards.
