The City Parks Foundation SummerStage Concert Series presents over 100 shows in all 5 NYC Boroughs throughout the Summer. The best part? Almost every show is free and curated specifically for the neighborhood it's presented in. Throughout June and July, can't miss Latin shows featuring Buika, Alceu Valença, Ximena Sariñana, León Geico, Ana Tijoux, ChocQuibTown, and more will take place through New York.

This year's festival will showcase 200 renowned artists and rising stars from around the world to local neighborhood parks, presenting distinctly New York genres -- salsa, jazz, and hip-hop -- alongside indie, reggae, Afrobeat, soul, contemporary dance, and much more. By popular demand, the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture brings back its 'Mambo Memories' concert, a tribute to the Palladium Ballroom era of the 1950s with a performance featuring a wide array of singers and dancers on Saturday, April 21st, 7:30 PM in the Main Theater at the Hostos Center, Hostos Community College, 450 Grand Concourse, in the Bronx. A dance follows at 9:30 PM in the Hostos Cafe with Salsa Warrior DJ Roy spinning mambo favorites.

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present the return of the PUERTO RICAN MASTERS with Director Isidro Infante featuring three legends of salsa: Ismael Rivera Jr., Pedro Brull and Jose Mangual Jr., joined on stage by Hector Tricoche and Viti Ruiz of the new generation of salsa with a special appearance by Yolanda Rivera today, June 4th, 2016 at 8pm. The Puerto Rican Masters are a select group of the greatest stars of classic and contemporary salsa of the last forty years. The Orchestra, led by Maestro Isidro Infante, is composed of some of the best Puerto Rican musicians resident in New York City. Produced by Lehman Center and Leo Tizol.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. Since its original conception in 2000, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra has established itself as the standard for contemporary Latin music. Directed by world-renowned pianist, arranger, and producer Oscar Hern?ndez, the 13-member all-star ensemble has reintroduced the classic sounds of New York City salsa to music lovers worldwide.
