Broadway's Ruby Rakos and Brian Charles Rooney will be joining David Davila as very special guest stars when Davila makes his triumphant return to the Beechman on Sept 16th at 7pm with a brand new show filled with new jams and old favorites from Davila's songbook. Lone Star Theatre Co is proud to announce their upcoming 2016-2017 season, "Cinco de Lone Star." The season, which marks the fifth year that Lone Star Theatre has been bringing Texas pages to New York stages, will focus a great deal of its programming on Latino voices. The season features new works by Raquel Almazan, Oscar Cabrera, Mandy Murphy, Nilsa Reyna and more.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival's award-winning musical comedy about illegal immigration, will receive a workshop featuring student performers, along with members of the original New York cast.

Eddy Cavazos will step into the role of Manuel in the workshop of de la Puente and Davila's award-winning musicalMANUEL VERSUS THE STATUE OF LIBERTY when the curtain goes up tomorrow night at Princeton University. Cavazos, who had previously worked with Davila on ADAN Y JULIO, steps into the role as a last minute replacement for Gil Perez-Abraham whose film schedule made him unavailable at the final hour.

Mannyville LLC, Dramatic Question Theatre and the New York Musical Theatre Festival are proud to announce the extension of the musical Manuel versus The Statue of Liberty which will begin performances this Tuesday, July 21.

Mannyville LLC and Dramatic Question Theatre in association with the New York Musical Theatre Festival will present the premiere of Manuel versus The Statue of Liberty with book by Noemi de la Puente, music by David Davila & Howard Post, Lyrics by Noemi de la Puente & David Davila with direction by Jose Zayas, choreography by Sidney Erik Wright and musical direction by Karl Hedrick. The new musical will play at the 2015 NYMF from July 21 -27 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

Casting is now complete for the upcoming 4×15 workshop of David Davila's VOX POP at Musical Theatre Factory in Manhattan. Directed by Srda Vasiljevic with musical direction by Karl Hedrick, the musical tells the story of a future where countries are traded like stocks between powerful corporations - bees are extinct and humans slaves must pollinate the crops.
