Hunter Gardner Releases SCHOOL

Hunter Gardner's debut novel, 'School.', is available March 1 from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. 'School.' is a young adult adventure (ages 13-18) set at Buena Vista Academy-a fictionalized private school in Wilson, North Carolina. The story has a distinctly Southern flavor and an abundance of local color, as the characters' pursuits take them into the unfamiliar of N.C. State in Raleigh and UNC-Chapel Hill college campuses, as well as a hallmark scene that features the folklore-laden Acid Park on the outskirts of Wilson.

'SCHOOL.' (Bitingduck Press, March 2014) is a young adult novel by first-time author Hunter Gardner. The story follows Lucas Donovan, an economically minded high school sophomore, who finds himself in a surreal world when he starts dealing drugs at his new private high school. Flanked by his best friend, Jake, and a crew of loyal followers (British transplant, Christopher, and football player with a heart of gold, Tyler Beason), Lucas develops a system that he knows will get everyone exactly what he wants: from a cheerleader girlfriend to money to social power.

Young Adult Fiction, SCHOOL, is Released

The teenage economists soon recruit two more salesmen—a stoic British transplant nicknamed The Poet and a football player with a heart of gold, Tyler Beason.
