This July, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will bring together more than 140 actors, singers and musicians from across globe for a sensational, one-time event - A Yiddish Renaissance: A Virtual Concert Celebration - filled with music and appearances by some of the most renowned Yiddish performers.

This June 8-12, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene continues its virtual entertainment series Folksbiene! LIVE, featuring Budd Mishkin's interview with legendary Broadway producer Emanuel 'Manny' Azenberg, a 15-Minute Yiddish lesson led by Motl Didner, and Zalmen Mlotek's Living Room Concert.

This June, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene brings the stage to global audiences when Folksbiene! LIVE features one-night only events, including Maida Feingold's a?oeThe Songs of Itzik Mangera?? and Vos-Ver-Vu: The Great Yiddish Theatre Quiz with Mikhl Yashinsky.

National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene continues to bring the stage to global audiences throughout May when Folksbiene! LIVE features virtual programming to entertain, enlighten, and engage.

CUNY TV will salute the upcoming 2017 Tony Awards with a new TONY Preview Special on ARTS IN THE CITY, plus a new 2017 TONY Predictions episode and a new TONY Time Critics panel, both on THEATER TALK. In addition, CUNY TV will present a marathon showing of THEATER TALK 2016-17 episodes and other programs related to this year's Tony nominees - all leading up to 8pm on June 11 when the annual TONY AWARDS Ceremony begins on CBS.

Broadway Dance Lab (BDL), a choreography incubator founded by choreographer Josh Prince (Beautiful, Shrek) welcomed Broadway luminaries Donna McKechnie and Jerry Mitchell as the co-chairs of its major fall fundraiser, held at the historic Judson Church, downtown Manhattan on Nov. 17. The event will be held tonight, Monday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m. on the Wurtele Thrust Stage at the Guthrie. Artistic Director Joe Dowling will lead the conversation that will be joined by actor Peter Michael Goetz, currently performing as Willie Clark in the Guthrie's production of Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys.

The Tony Awards® Administration Committee has announced this year's recipient for the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre. This year's award will be presented to producer Emanuel "Manny" Azenberg. The Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre will be presented at the 2012 Tony Awards on Sunday, June 10th. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

The Actors Fund celebrated the close of a year-long $10.1 million special campaign last evening at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, 1535 Broadway. Proceeds from the gala evening brought the grand total raised for the entertainment charity to $10.8 million.
