In Lenny's Back, a vibrant one-person play about the late controversial comic Lenny Bruce, Sam Bobrick and wife Julie Stein penned an unpredictably exhilarating look at a man that for many fans was the king of comedy. In Bobrick's latest comedy The Psychic, he does not choose anyone famous; on the contrary, he creates a fictitious struggling writer and five ordinary people with quite extraordinary ambitions and goals. Bigger than life, not unlike cartoons, the sextet create one unforgettably entertaining evening of theatre at the Falcon.

The Falcon Theatre presents the west coast premiere comedy Everybody Say 'Cheese!', the final production in its 2008-2009 'Bringin' the FUNNY' All-Comedy subscription season. Written by comedy icon and founder of the Falcon Theatre Garry Marshall, Everybody Say 'Cheese!' is directed by Steve Zuckerman and stars Joe Regalbuto (Murphy Brown) and DeeDee Rescher (King of Queens). Rounding out the cast are: Cyrus Alexander, John Capodice, Heather Corwin, Joel Johnstone and Roberta Valderrama.

Martin's intriguing exploration of two great minds meeting remains, however, lowbrow humor that begins to wear thin, especially so during a time traveling Elvis character (Cyrus Alexander) plunking into the bar to further play up the contrasts of creativity. There is enough to laugh about in Picasso at the Lapin Agile to keep audiences pleased, and thanks to Martin, also slightly engaged in the argument...
