BroadwayWorld has just received the news that the 1992 Olivier Award winning play THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE is eyeing a 2016-17 Broadway run, starring two-time Drama Desk nominated actress, singer and impressionist Christina Bianco in the pivotal role of LV.

The 19th annual "Living Landmarks" gala was a star-studded event attracting some 450 people to The Plaza ballroom on November 8th. Each year, The New York Landmarks Conservancy recognizes New Yorkers who have made outstanding contributions to the City and honors them as Living Landmarks. This year the honorees are: Daniel Boulud, Robert Caro, Peter L. Malkin, Liza Minnelli, James M. Nederlander, James L. Nederlander, and E. John Rosenwald, Jr. Scroll below for photos from the event!

James M. Nederlander (Chairman) and James L. Nederlander (President) kicked off the 100th anniversary of The Nederlander Organization by becoming the New York Landmark Conservancy's first father/son duo to be named "Living Landmarks," an honor that was bestowed last night at their annual gala at the Plaza Hotel. The Celebrate Broadway Preservation Fund, Inc. under the direction of The Broadway League, presented James M. Nederlander, Chairman of The Nederlander Organization, with the second Schoenfeld Vision for Arts in Education Award during a gala benefit held May 17 in the Broadway Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel.

Nederlander Alliances, LLC and Pittsburgh CLO, co-producers and founding partners of The National High School Musical Theater Awards, presented the first annual Jimmy Awards in a ceremony held last night at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, New York University. The Jimmy Award is named in honor of legendary Broadway theater owner and producer James M. Nederlander. The award features an illustration of James M. Nederlander drawn by world renowned artist Al Hirschfeld.
