BWW Student Center: Upcoming Shows at Liberty University's Tower Theater

Happy New Year, BroadwayWorld students! A new year means a new season of student performances! Are you looking to audition or take a seat in the audience to support your fellow classmates? Make sure that you check out your school's website and BroadwayWorld to find out what's coming to the stage.

In central Virginia, Liberty University's Department of Theatre Arts has a full upcoming spring season! Last season definitely showcased the true talent of the university. From Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, which was put on by Alluvion Stage Company, to CHARLEY'S AUNT, the fall season was full of magic and laughter. Below are this season's shows taking place at the Tower Theater and performance dates:

South Pacific (Academic performance)

  • February 13, 14, 20, 21, 27*, 28 - 7:30 p.m.
  • February 21 - 2:00 p.m.
  • February 15, 22~, March 1 - 3:00 p.m.

Everyman (Academic performance)

  • March 19, 20, 21* - 7:30 p.m.
  • March 21 - 2:00 p.m.
  • March 22~ - 3:00 p.m.

The Secret Garden (Alluvion Stage Company)

  • April 17, 18, 24, 25, May 1*, 2 - 7:30 p.m.
  • May 2 - 2:00 p.m.
  • April 19, 26, May 3~ - 3:00 p.m.
  • April 27 - 10:00 a.m. (Open to school groups only - Call 434-582-7078 for more information)

A * indicates a Talkback performance. At the conclusion of these performances, there will be an open Q&A with the director, designers, and selected actors. Talkbacks are free and open to the public. Attendance of the production is not required to attend Talkback.

A ~ indicates an ASL interpreted performance. Please contact the University Ticket Office for ASL seating information.
