Ogunquit Playhouse Announces Auditions for Holiday Production of White Christmas
The Ogunquit Playhouse is holding children’s auditions for the upcoming production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Auditions will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Colony Rehearsal Studio behind the Ogunquit Playhouse at 48 Hartwig Lane in Ogunquit, Maine.

Participants must prepare a short traditional musical theatre song, in their key, and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Performers should bring a picture with a resume/performance experience stapled to the back. Actors must be available for rehearsal period and to perform in all designated shows during the run of November 29 through December 17 at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH.
The character role being sought is the following:
SUSAN: (9-12 years old, 4’5” and under, to play 9 years old) The General's granddaughter, Susan is a lovable and outgoing kid. She is very smart, wise beyond her years, and cares deeply about her grandfather. Once bitten hard by the showbiz bug, she demonstrates everything that is winning in the ultimate child performer.

Directions:
From the south – Take exit #7 off I 95 and left on Rt 1 in York, ME. Travel 7 miles north to Ogunquit. Take first right onto Bourne Lane then the last right at the Barn Gallery. Make a sharp right onto Hartwig Lane and follow to end.
From the north – Travel through the Center of Ogunquit on Rt. 1 through yellow blinking light, passing the Meadowmere Resort on the left and take a left onto Bourne Lane, then the last right at the Barn Gallery. Make a sharp right onto Hartwig Lane and follow to end.

The Irving Berlin classic White Christmas will be presented just in time for the holidays, November 29 to December 17 at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
