THE WOMAN IN BLACK - Cumberland Theatre

Arthur Kipps: Age 40+ Older gentleman preferred. Lawyer who witnessed a mysterious event in his past. He has written the account in a manuscript and has hired a young actor to help him tell the story. The actor playing Kipps must have a strong command of language and character development. Actor plays multiple roles in the play-within-a-play requiring various believable accents.

Actor: Age 20-30 helps Kipps tell his thrilling tale by playing Kipps as a young man in the play-within-a-play.

Auditions will be held at the Cumberland Theatre on Saturday, September 26th, from 11AM-4PM. Please call the theatre on Tuesday, August 30th, between Noon-6PM to make an appointment. Appointment requests via Email will be accepted at info@cumberlandtheatre.com.

This is a non-equity, paid role. Housing provided for out-of-town performers in addition to travel stipend and weekly salary.

Physical location of Cumberland Theatre: 101 N Johnson Street, Cumberland, MD 21502.

Performances held Thursdays-Saturdays at 8PM and Sunday matinees at 2PM
