AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Treasure Island - Dec 5-7
Treasure Island this season will be an adventure into the exotic seas of nontraditional storytelling. Starting without a script, the storytelling method will be entirely devised and deconstructed. From this essential skeleton, the most desperate elements of the tale will shine through like a knife; escapism, violence, social order, and with a number of gender-swapped characters, sexuality and gender roles. - Director, Scott Crandall
Basement Arts' Treasure Island is looking for an ensemble of approximately ten people, men and women. We will be devising, through an innovative and largely untested method of physical improvisation and specific blocking/choreography, a performance based on the classic story.

Audition Information:
Monday, Oct 28th: 4-8pm Michigan League - Room D (3rd Floor)
*For auditions, wear movement clothes. No need for a monologue. Walk ins are welcome.
Callbacks (and backup auditions if you can't make it on Monday): Oct 29th: 4-8pm Michigan Union - Sophia B Jones Room (1st Floor)
Performance Dates: Dec 5-7
