TIME STANDS STILL - Basement Arts
I am hosting auditions for the fourth Basement Arts show of this semester, Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies.
Short Summary
This play tells the story of Sarah and James, a couple who are forced to return home early after a trip to the middle east goes awry. Over the span of one year they both have to decide if they want to return to their dangerous jobs or live a more conventional life.
Characters
Sarah Goodwin: late 30s-early 40s, a Photojournalist
James Dodd: late 30s-early 40s, a freelance journalist
Richard Ehrlich: 55, a photo editor
Mandy Bloom: 25, an event planner
Where: Rosen Reception Room (basement of) Walgreen Drama Center
When: Tuesday October 21st from 6 to 8pm and Wednesday October 22nd from 6 to 8pm (potential callbacks on Thursday, please check emails)
Please Bring: a 1 to 2 minute contemporary monologue, headshot/resume (if available), and your schedule for October-November *Sides will also be provided*
First Rehearsal: Thursday October 23rd
Performance: November 13th through 15th
