Throughline Theatre Company announces auditions for their 2015 Season!

Throughline Theatre Company returns to Grey Box in Lawrenceville for the 2015 season with season’s theme of “Method in Madness.”

Auditions for Throughline Theatre Company’s 2015 Season will be held at the Grey Box Theatre on February 7th, from 1-4pm, and February 8th, from 6-9pm. Auditions are by appointment; walk-ins are welcome, but will be fit in as time allows. Please submit a request for an appointment by going to
www.throughlinetheatre.org/auditions.html, and filling out the fields at the bottom of the page, with first and second preference for audition time. Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue; if you do not have a monologue, material for a cold read will be provided for you. Please also bring with you a headshot and acting resume.

The 2015 season’s throughline is “Method in Madness.” Productions include: The Ruling Class by Peter Barnes, directed by Don DiGiulio (production dates June 5th-13th); Medea by Euripides, directed by Michael McBurney (production dates July 17th-25th); Games of the Mind by F. J. Hartland, directed by Allison M. Weakland (production dates September 11th-19th); and Brainpeople by Jose Rivera, directed by Sean Sears (production dates October 23rd-31st).

Games of the Mind is the winner of Throughline’s second New Play Competition. In the play, we meet the Scholastic Scrimmage team from Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrows High School, who won the championship ten years ago. Secrets are revealed at the ten year reunion of the team that may tear their lives apart. F.J. Hartland is a published playwright, professional actor and award-winning director. He holds a BA in English from Westminster College and an MFA in Playwriting from Carnegie-Mellon University.

For any questions, please contact Tina Cerny, Production Manager, at
tcerny@throughlinetheatre.org. Throughline Theatre Company casts without regard to age, gender, race, and ethnicity where possible, and actors are paid through Equity for Artists.
