Bill Hanney’s Theatre by the Sea will hold local auditions for Equity and non –Equity performers on Saturday January 31, 2015 and Sunday February 1, 2015 at the University of Rhode Island’s Fine Arts Center at 105 Upper College Rd. Kingston, RI. Parking and entrance at rear of building.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Kevin P. Hill, the 2015 Summer Season is:

Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID - Director/Choreographer: Billy Sprague Jr.
July 22-August 15
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN - Director/Choreographer: Kevin P. Hill
August 19-September 6 ( possible 1 week extension)
The auditions will run from 10am-6pm both days , with an hour lunch break at 1pm. AEA members will be seen first in 5 min appointment intervals, AEA performers can make appointments starting January 14, 2015 by calling 401-782-3800 x 109. Those without an appointment will be seen on a first come first served basis. Non-Equity will be seen after Equity.
Performers are asked to prepare two brief songs: one up tempo and one ballad, 16 bars each. Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided but will not transpose. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled back-to back. Some may be asked to stay to dance , so bring appropriate dancewear and shoes, including tap shoes. Call backs will take place later each day.
Seeking Equity and non-Equity male and female performers, singers and dancers of all ethnicities and backgrounds.
ALL MUST BE STRONG DANCERS AND SINGERS. ALL MUST AUDITION AND BE AVAILABLE FOR CALLBACKS TO BE CONSIDERED. NO VIDEO SUBMISSIONS.
