AUDITIONS FOR TERRACE PLAZA PLAYHOUSE’S THE ADDAMS FAMILY
The Terrace Plaza Playhouse is looking for creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky actors and actresses for its production of The Addams Family, to be performed October 2nd – November 14th Monday, Friday and Saturday including HALLOWEEN!
The Addams Family features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
Auditions for The Addams Family directed by Dennis Ferrin will be held on July 18th, 9am-12pm at the Terrace Plaza Playhouse, 99. E. 4700 S. Washington Terrace, UT 84405. No appointment necessary. Please prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist, CD player, and ipod dock will be available. No acapella auditions. Headshots are not necessary but very much appreciated. Must be at least 12 years old to audition for Pugsley, for all other roles must be at least 16 years old. Callbacks are Tuesday July 21st at 7:00 pm by invitation only.
