Prepare 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway-style song. Piano, CD player, and iPod dock, is available. No acapella auditions. All roles are available and listed below. There are no roles for those younger than 16. Please bring a detailed list of all conflicts during rehearsals and the run of the show.
Georg and Amalia are two feuding clerks in a European parfumerie during the 1930's who secretly find solace in their anonymous romantic pen pals, little knowing their respective correspondents are none other than each other. SHE LOVES ME is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence and relevant as ever in this age of internet romances.
SHE LOVES ME runs 18 April – 31 May, 2014 Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings. Rehearsals will begin 25 February @ 7:00 and will generally be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings – with added rehearsals two weeks prior to opening.

AMALIA BALASH The eager new employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Despite being a skilled saleswoman, she easily becomes intimated and nervous. Attractive, bright, and a lover of literature. Female, 20-25 yrs old Range: C4 - B5
ARPAD LASZLO Delivery boy at Maraczek's Parfumerie. His exuberance is infectious and commitment to his job remarkable. He is ambitious and adorable. Male, 14-17 yrs old Range: Bb2 - E4
GEORG NOWACK An established employee of Maraczek's Parfumerie, he resembles a hopeless romantic. Shy, intelligent, and soft spoken. Male, 25-30 yrs old Range: B2 - F4
ILONA RITTER Employed at Maraczek's Parfumerie. She is sexy and learned in the ways of romance, but longing for something more from the game of love. Female, 25-30 yrs old Range: F#3 - E5
LADISLAV SIPOS Not the brightest employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. A confidant to Georg, he is an optimistic family man who looks like a huggable father. Male, 45 yrs old Range: A2 - E4
MR. MARACZEK Owner of Maraczek's Parfumerie. With a commanding presence, his dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faithfulness to his wife. Male, 55-65 yrs old Range: B2 - C4
STEVEN KODALY A well respected and liked employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Though he is considered dapper and occasionally charming, he is more of a shallow womanizer. Male, 25 yrs old Range: B2 - A4
