SCERA announces April 17-18 auditions for “Seussical: The Musical,” the second show of the 2017 Summer Season at SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre
The SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre announces auditions for the second show of its 2017 summer season, “Seussical The Musical.” It will be directed and choreographed by Shawn M. Mortensen, with music direction by DeLayne Bluth Dayton. Danielle Berry will serve as stage manager.
“Seussical” will play July 7-22 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays @ 8:00pm.
Auditions will be held Monday, April 17 or Tuesday, April 18 from 7:00-9:00pm at SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. Callbacks, for those invited, will be held Wednesday, April 19, and will include a dance audition.
All roles roles are available. Auditioners ages 12 and older should prepare to sing 16 bars from a modern Broadway musical or a song in the style of the show. An accompanist or IPOD playback will be available – please bring your music. Auditions are done by appointment, and you can submit your audition form online and sign up for a time at
www.scera.org under the Stage tab. A resume and headshot is helpful to bring with you, but is not required.
