Searching for Sidekicks: Trusty Sidekick Theater Company
Trusty Sidekick seeks collaborators for our 2015-2016 season and beyond. Come play with us this May and learn about our process while we get to know you.
Participants in the ?Searching for Sidekicks?workshop series will join Trusty Sidekick ensemble members for three days of our typical devising process, exploring form and content using a variety of theatrical disciplines. We are a highly collaborative ensemble and seek performers and designers who reflect a wide range of skills and experience. ?Searching for Sidekicks?is an opportunity for you to learn more about our process and for us to get to know you as an artist as we begin casting for our 2015-2016 season.

Searching for Sidekicks Dates:
Monday, June 15th: 7-10 PM
Tuesday, June 16th: 7-10 PM
Wednesday, June 17th: 7-10 PM
Participants will be invited to attend and asked to commit to the entire workshop series.
Submissions:
Trusty Sidekick hopes to reflect the diversity of the city of New York on stage. To that end, we are interested in seeing a diverse group of artists for these workshops. Artists of all races, ethnicities, and ages (18+) are highly encouraged to submit.
Artists from all performing arts disciplines are encouraged to submit (Actors, dancers, puppeteers, musicians, physical theatre/clowning, multidisciplinary a plus).
A few spaces in the workshop will be reserved for current students.
Interested artists should submit a headshot and resume and/or design portfolio, ?along with a brief response to the following question: Why are you interested in making original work for young people with Trusty Sidekick? ?Please also indicate availability ?for the workshop dates listed above.
