About the show:

This newly reimagined adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's coming-of-age favorite features Jo March as we haven’t quite seen them before! Acting as an omniscient narrator in Christmas 1863 and moving us seamlessly through time and space with the flourish of their pen, Jo introduces us to the March sisters, Marmee, Laurie, Great Aunt March, and all of your Concord favorites in this inclusive, holiday-themed nod to Alcott's love letter to individuality, perseverance, and love in all its forms. This is a kid-friendly show and a treat for the whole family!

Casting is looking for 9 actors of any demographic profile. A note from the playwright on casting: “This play is most effective when it is consciously cast with diversity of ethnicity, body shape, gender identity, age, and physical ability. While the play is set in a time gone by, it should be relatable and inclusive to today’s audience.”
