Please bring a headshot, resume and sheet music for a song or two that show off your voice.
An accompanist will be provided. No acapella, boom-boxes, CDs or karaoke tracks.
Wear something comfortable, you will be asked to DANCE, and read from the script provided.

Belle: 20’s, lyrical pop theatre voice to an E with a very strong and clear belt
Beast: 20’s-30’s, baritone to an F
Maurice: Belle’ father 50+, sweet bumbling inventor, a singing role
Gaston: 20’s – 30, Big, Burly, a bully; Howard Keel, baritone with a solid F
Le Fou: Gaston’s idiot sidekick, comic timing, baritone to G
Mrs. Potts: a Tea pot/Housekeeper, lyrical alto down to a low F sharp.
Lumiere: candlestick and charming Host of the castle, cheezy French accent, smooth moves, baritone to a G
Cogsworth: The castle major domo now a clock. Fussy and blustering, baritone
Babette: belt with legit soprano
Mme. La Grande Bouche: legit operatic mezzo to G or B flat
Monsieur D’Arque: nasty character who runs the insane asylum, baritone to F#
Chip: Actor to play a child about age 10, must sing.
Silly Trio: three girls to giggle sing & fawn on Gaston – good comic timing
ENSEMBLE: 10 singing, dancing, energetic people, will play both townsfolk and enchanted castle-dwellers to fill the stage with sound, color and magic.
