The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce additional schedule information for the Live @ Peck Pavilion closing celebration, Taste of Islands.

Planned as a mini-festival celebrating the music, food and culture of Jamaica, Taste of Islands will be presented on the Marcus Center grounds on August 27 from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Music:
3:00 pm - UNITY The Band
7:00 pm - Natty Nation

Visual Art:
2:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Hands-on kids crafts
3:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Paint (and Drinks) with ARTE Bar & Painting Lounge. ARTE of the Wauwatosa Village will offer open canvas painting for $5 (not including beverage). They will have step by step instructions to help you create your own masterpiece!

Kids Activities:
2:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Hands-on kids activities
3:00 pm, 4:00 pm & 5:00 pm -Jamaican Jamboree: Caribbean Stories, Rhythm and Rhyme! (Multi-Lingual Storytelling)
4:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Face Painting with Suzy Sparkles

Food & Drink
4pm, 5pm & 6pm: School of Rum featuring rum tastings of Appleton Estate Rum from Jamaica and Great Northern Distilling of Wisconsin. First come, first served and space is limited.
2pm - 10pm Sazama's River's Edge Patio will be serving select Jamaican dishes, with full bar service plus Saz's festival food favorites.

All performances and interactive experiences (with the exception of Paint+Drink) are free.

Artist vendors will be on site with original work available for purchase. Sazama's River's Edge Patio will be providing authentic food and beverages that will be available for purchase all day. No carry in food or beverages are allowed.

Marcus Center's Peck Pavilion features fixed seats in a covered pavilion along the beautiful Milwaukee Riverwalk. Event is presented rain or shine.
