A poetic, visual and musical narrative inspired by Southern Maine’s rich natural and human history. Molded by the Flow explores how the state’s rivers, ocean, weather, plants and animals have inspired diverse groups of people to inhabit the area, and thereby shape the landscape and the history of Maine.
This year-long collaboration is led by Libra Professor Paul Dresher and visiting artist Rinde Eckert, and is made possible with the support of the Libra Professorship at USM. Participating departments include the Department of Art, School of Music and Department of Theatre, and project participation made available to University students of many other disciplines.
